Use light and color to reach the goal. Hints are given along the way. Without Hue was originally a super short game made in about 2 days as submission to the minijam with COLORS theme. Orig Jam and Post-Jam versions are available for download. The browser version is the Post-Jam version. Screenshots here are mixed between Post and Orig Jam versions.

Post-Jam Update Released

Details in the devlogs

Updates

There won't be any more updates on the game unless either of 2 conditions happen.  1 - Just going to fix bugs or errors, 2 - The game somehow becomes a hit. If you guys want, I could also make a short info doc on the abilities and poems in the game.

(Spoiler alert below for Orig Jam ver)

**

Hints are in the form of a poem. If you're having trouble figuring out the poem's meaning, continue reading. Some controls are used in later levels only. You have an extra leap if you jump quickly and one extra life(Hitting an enemy causes you to lose that extra life). Use space to light up the world. Move your cursor to aim and left-click to shoot.

Very appropriate soundtrack, although its a bit repetitive. I love the game concept/idea as well. It was very entertaining, although the instructions were a bit unclear.

Thanks so much for playing! What you said about the soundtrack being repetitive was pretty ironic since it was the longest I've made lol. I think it seems more repetitive since the levels are really short so it restarts in the next. I can understand the instructions being unclear. Will definitely work on it. The game will be updated in about a week or so. Ty for the feedback :)

No problem, the soundtrack wasn't bad... It was actually stuck in my head for quite a while. I can't wait for the updated version of the game!

Hey! Just wanted to tell you that the game has been updated :)
